Radio was the first electronic medium of mass entertainment. It’s a psychological medium, based on an emotional and imaginative bond with its audience. In 2008 it remains an important source of news and entertainment. Radio reaches a huge audience quickly and allows the audience to interact with one another more easily than television viewers or newspaper readers.

Rather than push content AT our listeners we invite them to interact with the Station so that they feel a sense of ownership and pride in what they hear. Listeners are constantly invited to contact us via text or through our fully interactive website.Each Presenter has their own Blog page and you can both listen Live online or podcast our
best bits.

Radio allows the listener to become involved with the station. This is because everyone relates to the songs, the presenters and everything in between. Radio and of course it’s advertisements, reach the widest variety of people. It reaches everyone from the mother in her car, the student on the bus or a group of friends preparing for a night on the town!

Advertising is targeted towards the audience in such a way that it forms a positive impact on the customer and in the process creates brand recognition. Radio is an important part of contemporary culture. Children have to learn how the world works and commercial communications form part of that learning curve.
